Roundtable Luncheons

Sequoia Financial Corp. Events With Deborah Gamber

As a financial representative I have given many seminars and now believe that people enjoy a more casual environment to ask their own questions of advisors. So I cordially invite you to join me for a small round table discussion over a meal. –Deborah Gamber

At the roundtable, guests are able to pose their own questions and discuss the future forecasting on our economy with Deborah, one of the few Harry S. Dent financial advisors in Colorado.

Harry S. Dent is the president of HS Dent Foundation and accurately foresaw the recession of 1990-1991, the expansion of the mid-nineties, and the boom of 1998-2000. These forecasts were published in his bestselling books: The Great Boom Ahead and The Roaring 2000s. As he predicted in these earlier publications and his book: The Great Crash Ahead, published at the end of 2011; our economy is on course toward a major depression, not unlike the one that struck Japan in the 1990’s.  Mr. Dent now believes this could come in 2014 to 2015, but could be continually staved off by the actions of the Federal Reserve with their continued stimulus at the current rate of $40b per month for an infinite time period.   Our government, central bank, just like the European Central Bank does not want the debt to be deleveraged, because that is painful for an economy to go through, i.e. the Great Depression of the 1930’s.

Your host, Deborah Gamber, is a member of the H.S. Dent Adviser’s Network. She will give you insight into why Mr. Dent’s tools for economic forecasting have helped her provide clients with valuable information to reassess their risk tolerance in volatile markets.

Come for a dynamic discussion of Dent’s latest book and discuss questions such as:
  • How do you recover from the worst bear market since the 1930’s?
  • Where is this economy headed, while the taxpayer is having to fund close to $20 trillion in US debt?
  • How will taxes affect your goals in retirement?
  • What is a true assessment of your individual risk tolerance?

As there are cycles and seasons in our weather, there are similar cycles in our economy. We are approaching the season of a great winter storm and the traditional asset allocation model may not protect your nest egg in this environment.
